About Me
I’m Vicky, a qualified counsellor offering private counselling for adults. I’m deeply passionate about supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing. I understand how important it is for anyone who is struggling to feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgement. Being able to offer that space to adults is something I consider a privilege.

My path into counselling came after several years working in different roles, but I always felt drawn to supporting people on a deeper, more meaningful level. Eventually, I followed that long‑held passion and retrained as a therapeutic counsellor—a decision that has shaped my life in profound ways. I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have several years of experience.

My work is shaped by experience supporting people through grief and loss, past and present trauma, and the often quiet struggles around self‑esteem and self‑image. I aim to create a gentle, accepting space where you can explore whatever feels heavy, confusing, or painful at your own pace.

Alongside my private practice, I volunteer with two local charities close to my heart. At The Cedar Tree, I support women navigating the emotional impact of miscarriage, stillbirth, unplanned pregnancy, abortion, or failed IVF. I also offer my counselling skills at the West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre, where I walk alongside survivors as they begin to rebuild safety, trust, and a sense of who they are.

I believe counselling can help you make sense of your experiences, regain a sense of control, and create positive, lasting change. For many people (myself included), it can be an empowering and life‑changing process. Being able to walk alongside someone as they navigate their challenges is something I consider a genuine privilege.

I offer individual, face‑to‑face counselling in the Wyre Forest area, as well as online sessions for anyone who prefers support from the comfort of their own space.

My counselling room is a warm and cosy space, gently lit and designed to help you feel safe, comfortable, and at ease from the moment you arrive. Parking is available nearby, and there is access to a toilet, to ensure your visit is as relaxed as possible.

I also offer online counselling, which many people have found supportive and reassuring. It’s a confidential and convenient way to access therapy, allowing you to engage with therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own surroundings while still receiving attentive, high quality care. All of my online clients have commented how online counselling has been as effective as face to face counselling for them and I have had very positive responses.
